Tech Parachute, the provider of Fireside Retail, is a cutting edge technology provider located in the North Atlanta suburbs. The company was formed under the direction of Michael Walter and Josh Coffield who set out with a vision to become a premier technology solutions company that focused on providing a remarkable customer experience. They wanted to prove that technology exists to support an organization, when too many IT people seem to think it works the other way around. They also wanted to help small businesses who seem to struggle the most with truly helpful, yet cost effective solutions.
Fireside Retail is the industry leading Point-of-Sale (POS) / Inventory Management software. Instead of software developed as an installed package, we decided it was in everyone’s best interest to change the tradition of providing software and follow the philosophy of providing Software as a Service (SAS). This is the key to Fireside Retail and why it is so successful.
Software as a Service, means that the software is not just the end product, but instead delivered with a service team to help retailers and customers use and grow with the software. Instead of paying a tremendous up-front cost for the software and then having to pay annual service fees, telephone support fees and having to purchase the software again in a few years, National Data Trust would provide the software, support and upgrades as part of your monthly subscription.
